Healthcare Billing and Coding is counted with the fastest-growing, in-demand fields of healthcare and healthcare support. Jobs are plentiful, and demand for skilled workers will continue for the next decade, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
As the American healthcare system continues to grow both in terms of size and complexity, the need for proficient billers and coders increases. The IU Certificate in Healthcare Billing and Coding (HBC) program provides student-centered, independent learning that will enable students to enter and advance in an important non-clinical healthcare field.
